Publicity Pictures

Ken in his younger days (Series 1) with his beloved BSA 650 motorbike, “White Lightning”. The picture is also used on the front cover of the book (see below).

Gary Leeke sent me this picture. I’m not sure where it comes from; it may be a still from the TV Times.

Louise Berridge (script editor) sent me this photo of the CBS sign.

Photo from one of the Nottingham CBS episodes (Series 5, 6 or 7), taken from the Granada Plus web site.

These pictures are from an article in What’s on TV, 5  September 1992, when Saskia Wickham joined the cast for Series 7.

In 2000, Michael Elphick made a short video trailer to accompany the repeat showings of Boon by Granada Plus.

Neil Morrissey looking very serious!

Three pictures from “I Bought A Vampire Motorcycle”, showing Noddy (Neil Morrissey), Kim (Amanda Noar) and Inspector Cleaver (Michael Elphick).

Gary Leeke took this picture when he interviewed Michael Elphick in June 1999. The cardboard cutout in the background shows Letitia “Sharon Mitchell” Dean and Michael Elphick as they appeared in the stage play of “Loot”.

Photo of Liz Carling from the Radio Times (22 March 1997) at the time when she first appeared as Phoebe in “Goodnight Sweet- heart”. The photographer has done a very skilful job lighting that skirt so you can nearly see all the way to the top of her legs!

Three photos of Saskia Wickham. The first is from the Radio Times (18 April 1998), at the time when she played Dr Erica Matthews in “Peak Practice”. The second is from the Peak Practice web site. I’m not sure where the third picture came from, but I like her confident “don’t mess with me, mate” stare!
